We’re hiring a Sales & Customer Experience Team Member

This role will be responsible for customer experience and catering sales, interacting directly with CYM guests and supporting our shop teams to create the best overall guest experience. Your friendly and positive attitude, quick responses, and organized systems will ensure guests stay happy and generate even more brand love. This role includes managing customer service through email and social media, and assisting guests with their catering orders. In addition, this role will help drive the development of existing business and generate new leads and sales opportunities.

As a CYM team member, you’ll make an impact by:

Your core responsibilities will be:

• Provide excellent customer service via email, phone, and social media
• Resolve customer service issues in a friendly and direct way; escalate any immediate issues
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, CYM systems (Toast, DoorDash, UberEats, Catering Software), and business details to solve problems and ensure all our communication is accurate and up to date
• Guide guests through menu, offerings, and pricing; lead and assist with the planning of their menu and order; identify and facilitate special requests
• Coordinate catering order details with the shop teams and schedule catering pickups and deliveries when appropriate
• Spread brand awareness and generate brand excitement through on-brand communication via email and social media
• Prior to event dates for major holidays or special events, confirm all order details with the guests, shop teams, Commissary teams
• Create opportunities to gain new business through proactive outreach
• Organize swag and ship merch once a week
• Assist with other admin processes as needed

You’ll be a great addition to the CYM team if you:

• Have 1-2 years experience in a customer service role
• Have experience with social media and community management
• Have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoy hospitality and serving others
• Take initiative and enjoy problem solving
• Are pleasant in dealing with guests and team members, with the ability to perform in demanding situations
• Have high energy and stamina in a fast-paced environment; work calmly under pressure
• Treat others with kindness and respect
• Are a team player and always willing to help others
• Have a sense of humor, positive attitude, and passion for food
• Have availability to work Monday-Friday 6am-2pm in office

Prior hospitality experience is not required. We believe that the best individuals come with varied backgrounds and experiences.
